Training: To Train or Not to Train.
The word training carries a myriad of feelings; probably at some point, the simple fact of having heard the word "train" or "training" will, depending on the position you hold within the organization or your professional development, be the type of reaction that this word will have provoked in you.
It has been common for some training plans to remain pending due to the information related to the supporting documentation involved in the training process, in addition to the various areas that must work together to generate much of this information: job description, performance evaluation, training needs assessment, annual training plan, risk matrix, skills and competencies matrix, training certificates.
During some interviews with our clients, similar cases have emerged in the following expressions: “It’s an expense”; “I don’t have any money”; “I haven’t even taken a course”; “It’s too much work”; “What for?”; “We’ve managed to get by so far”; “People leave later”; “I forgot to include it in the annual plan”; etc.
The management you undertake to train your staff will contribute to the performance of your business or company and also to the development of the place where you are located.
A clear example of the importance of training or not training can be seen in the INEGI publication (based on the 2019 results) that they share with us in the section “Municipalities according to their contribution to the gross census value added based on their vocation” The position of the municipality of Carmen, Campeche in relation to the percentages of training obtained: Received training 7.2%, Did not receive training 92.8%.

Industrial activities in the municipality of Carmen, Campeche, require businesses to have trained personnel to perform their tasks. For other sectors, the requirement is even greater, as companies are required to have their personnel certified, and compliance with this requirement is a determining factor in accepting or rejecting a company's services.
Throughout our growth and development, there have been figures who lovingly and dedicatedly educated us, taught us, trained us, and accompanied us at every stage; now it is our turn to continue this cycle: for our children, for our collaborators; to share knowledge and experience with people who wish to continue learning and training.
We have learned that there are multiple reasons why an employee decides to leave; however, one common goal that we share with our clients is prevention.
Let's contribute from wherever we are to reducing workplace risks and fostering the loyalty of our employees.
There are unfortunate events that arise from a lack of training when staff carried out an activity, and others that are less pleasant; in both cases, these are events that could have been prevented.
Any activity or work that a person or collaborator will do perform for the first time, It is the responsibility of whoever hired him. train him to perform the activity or work, tell them how much time they should spend, the steps to follow, and the equipment or tools they should use.
It is profitable in the short to medium term to train the person who directly performs an activity or job and the person who accompanies and/or validates the activities carried out; you will save yourself discomfort, additional or unnecessary expenses.
It is important to mention that training is part of the set of processes that will help you achieve your goals, so it is advisable to verify compliance with the indicators of the other processes.
Depending on the objective and strategic plan of your business or company, this is the suggested percentage you set to fulfill the training requirements.
So, is training a waste of time and money? At Singulari, we definitely believe that's not the case., Training motivates you to find your best version and helps increase your income, improve your productivity and that of your team by reducing the time to perform a task or activity, makes you aware of the importance of maintaining your physical integrity and that of your environment, as well as meeting the requirements of your client safely and consistently.
