{"id":872,"date":"2022-02-24T14:44:19","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T20:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/?p=872"},"modified":"2022-10-07T10:28:46","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T15:28:46","slug":"plan-de-sucesion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/en\/plan-de-sucesion\/","title":{"rendered":"I have to leave: I don&#039;t have a succession plan."},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> 3<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minutes<\/span><\/span>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Succession Plan.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although a <strong>Succession Plan<\/strong> It is designed to ensure the company&#039;s permanence and the fulfillment of its objectives, policies, mission, and values, as well as to give continuity to projects and operations, meet commercial commitments, and guarantee the stability of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\" data-id=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Plan-Sucesion-1024x536.png\" alt=\"Plan de Sucesi\u00f3n: \u00bfEst\u00e1s preparado?\" class=\"wp-image-1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Plan-Sucesion-1024x536.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Plan-Sucesion-980x513.png 980w, https:\/\/www.singulari.com.mx\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Plan-Sucesion-480x251.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Succession Plan is generally developed with the company&#039;s key personnel in mind. <em>(it is common to consider employees with more than 5 years in the company);<\/em> It is important to emphasize that the scope of the succession plan will depend on the type and size of the company: whether it is a family business, a multinational company, a local company, etc.; since in some cases it is necessary to comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System if we want to avoid setbacks in a follow-up audit or recertification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We know that there have been cases in which, due to health issues, some clients had to leave a close person in charge of their organization and\/or company to direct the course of their business, whether a family member or a trusted person; in some other cases, unfortunately, the departure has been unexpected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The environment has had a negative impact on the financial health of companies, businesses or ventures; due to non-payment by their main clients or the financing of products or services, due to delays in the payment of loans or financing, due to the lack of projects, due to SARS COVID-19, due to staff turnover; etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The experience they shared with us led to the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who should I put in charge of my company?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who&#039;s going to want to take care of my company as much as I do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What if the person I leave steals from my company and my family now that I&#039;m gone?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked, &quot;Do you have a succession plan?&quot; the answer was: <strong>No<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common practice is that when a person in a managerial or executive position leaves the company in which they provide their services <em>(by employee decision or by company decision)<\/em> The position or vacancy is filled by hiring a person who meets the profile according to the job description. <em>(if it exists) <\/em>or the vacancy is filled with a person who is considered to be able to meet the job profile <em>(assignment or recommendation)<\/em>.
